“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.  John 15:5

Do you sometimes feel your walk with God is barren land?  Do you feel like you’re not producing anything worthwhile?  Do you wish that God would do something in and through you?  Well you are in a prime state to be fertilized.  Sometimes, the reason we’re not productive in our daily walk with God is because there are problems under the surface.  The issues that need resolving are hidden, not exposed to those around us, (possibly even hidden from ourselves.)  In order to become “fertile ground” where God can really use you, He needs an invitation to do a little digging, to get to the root of the problem.  The process may be painful when our roots become “exposed” but God has promised that if we remain in Him we will bear much fruit.  And apart from Him, we can do nothing. God’s purpose for you in this lifetime is to become transformed into the image and likeness of Jesus Christ.  Until then, He will continue to “shake you up, expose your roots, and fertilize your life.”  Consider the following prayer in your daily walk today, inviting Jesus to be the Master of your land and life:  “Dear Jesus, I want You to dig around in my life and get to the root of my issues.  I want you to nourish me.  I want my life to bear fruit for You, Lord.  Amen”

As always, we’re saving you a seat at Community Family Church

We love y’all
