“But he said, ‘I will not let you go until you bless me.'” Genesis 32:26

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” James 1:17.  All good things come from God.  If you experience things in life that are anything less than good and perfect, then they must be coming from someplace else.  Why is it then that we settle for anything less than perfect?  God wants the best for us.  God wants us to be happy and at peace with those around us.  And God wants to bless us.   Often, WE are the reason for our own heartaches and sorrows.  The choices we make to live outside of God’s will and the refusal to follow the path that He has carved out for us.  But what about the other times?  What about the times we are seeking His will?  Sometimes, we all have to admit that, yes, we want God’s will in our lives but we are not willing to fight for our blessings!  Healing, salvation, deliverance, financial blessings and restoration of relationships are all part of God’s plan, but the question is, “Will you fight for them?”  Will you stay on your knees all night in prayer?  Will you fast for days to hear His voice?  Will you humble yourself before the Lord and repent with sincere sorrow?  In order to experience the fullness of the glory of the Lord we must be willing to fight for our blessings and cry out to the Lord as Jacob did so many years ago, boldly claiming, “No I will NOT let you go until you bless me!”  Cry out and fight for your blessings today!

I’m looking forward to meeting you at Community Family Church!

We love y’all
