Galatians 2-20

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live,                                                                                                                                                                      but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.”                                                                                                                                                                                                   Galatians 2:20

Did you know that the primary work of the Holy Ghost is to remind us of our need to be connected with God?    Outward signs such as tears, or trembling are often mistaken as sensitivity or heightened emotions when in fact, the Holy Spirit is  simply attempting to get our attention.   Tears as they relate to the Holy Spirit are often a result of one of two things:

The presence of the Holy Spirit, whether through tears, trembling or a heightened sense of peace is a pure reminder that God lives in you and me.  Because He has chosen to take up residence in our hearts and lives, we must die to everything we were in the past.  We cannot turn off the Holy Ghost, and His main goal is to bring us into a personal relationship with the Lord.    Too often, we hold onto the guilt and shame of the past, and essentially quenching the work of the Holy Spirit.  It is  time to surrender to the fact that your old way of life has been crucified with Christ.  You no longer have to live with the guilt and shame.  It has been buried!  Crucify your pride.  Remember, you cannot truly live until you have died!  For many this also means we  must nail all our goals, dreams, visions to the cross.   We  MUST Empty ourselves so that God can fill us!  You are here because Somebody lives inside you, and that somebody is Jesus Christ!

If the flesh has not been crucified in your life, Christ cannot rise up in your life.

Surrender your flesh today and boldly claim,  “The life I now live is because Christ has risen up and lives inside me!”

We love y’all!  And remember, We’re saving you a seat at Community Family Church!
