“For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.”  Matthew 7:8

Have you ever noticed that when you lose something that wasn’t very valuable to you in the first place, you don’t go looking for it?  For instance, if you lost some loose change from your pocket, you wouldn’t tear the house apart looking for it.  The truth is, you may not even realize it’s lost in the first place.  But chances are, if you lost a one hundred dollar bill, you would not only be searching for it, but you’d get your entire family onboard to help.  We seek after the things that are most valuable to us and can provide us the most benefit.  And whether we realize it or not, we are all searching for something.

It’s the moment that we realize the value of something that the search actually begins.  When we are seeking, we are not just simply wishing or hoping, we are actively looking for something that will take us to the next level in life.  Most young men in their early twenties and thirties are actively seeking a help mate, or wife to share the rest of their lives with, realizing it’s that relationship between a husband and wife that is so beneficial to growth.  Likewise, many young adults actively pursue a degree in college realizing it’s part of the path to fulfilling their American dream.  Yet, many in this day and age are lost, lacking the knowledge it takes to understand where true and lasting fulfillment are derived.

Today, I encourage you to seek after the one and only thing that can bring lasting growth and peace to your life.  That one thing is Jesus Christ.                               Each and everyday when I wake up I pray,

“This one thing I seek after today Lord, I desire to behold the beauty and presence of God in my own life and in the lives of my children and grandchildren.         I want to see and experience the grace and beauty of God to the point that breakthroughs take place.

If you or someone you love is in need of a breakthrough, begin looking to the only One who can initiate a breakthrough. Our precious, heavenly Father.

As you seek, be encouraged knowing what God’s precious Word says,

“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19

Friend, God can make a way where there is no way!

As always, we’re saving you a seat at Community Family Church!

We love y’all
