“The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.” Proverbs 4:18

The Bible has much to say about righteousness and the need for believers to strive for righteousness.  But where does the path of the righteous lead to?  Of course we are all taught that it leads to heaven, but what about while we are still here on this earth?  What can we expect to gain from living a righteous life?  Proverbs 4:18, sums it up:  “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”  Too often, Christians “claim” living righteously is too hard and requires too much from them.  If we would only take God at His word and trust Him fully, we would learn that Jesus came “So that you would have life and have it more abundantly.”  We are also reminded in Isaiah 33:15, 16:

Those who walk righteously and speak what is right, who reject gain from extortion and keep their hands from accepting bribes, who stop their ears against plots of murder and shut their eyes against contemplating evil. He will dwell on the heights, His refuge will be the impregnable rock; His bread will be given him, His water will be sure.”

When we are born again, we enter into the realm of the Spirit. A born again experience is the work of the Holy Spirit.   The Bible tells us that “Angels encamp around them that fear God.” Embrace who you are in Christ today and step out of the realm of the flesh into the realm of the Spirit. There are things that happen in the supernatural that we are not even aware of. God can open doors that no man can open.  The direction of those that are justified by faith are charted by God.  As you walk in His ways and in obedience to Him the path gets brighter and more clear.  You have a destiny in this life that God wants you to fulfill.  The path of the just is a shining light.  God has a way of working things out for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose!

Activate your faith in God today, by walking in righteousness, and watch what the Lord can do with your circumstances!
